Facilitator and Consultant
Jeffrey Phillips
WELCOME
Welcome to Phillips Facilitation and Consulting. As certified facilitators and consultants, our core principle is that strong connections among coworkers and counterparts lead to a more productive, innovative, and committed workforce. The rise of remote work only increases the importance of conferences, workshops, staff retreats, strategic planning sessions, and other forums to enable those human connections to develop.
You cannot count on these connections to happen organically. There is no longer an appetite for the old-fashioned formats of lengthy lectures and endless Powerpoint presentations with limited time for engagement. Consider this fact: over the past 20 years, people’s average attention span has decreased from 12 seconds to 8 seconds -- shorter than the attention span of a goldfish. I consistently find that participants at every type of convening crave creativity, collaboration, interactivity, and let’s just name it…some enjoyment too. At Phillips Facilitation and Consulting, we provide the skilled facilitation that leads to successful convenings and creates meaningful opportunities for participants to build and strengthen lasting relationships.

SERVICES
Experience You Can Trust
Strategic Planning
Leaders who prioritize alignment around purpose and mission with their teams more consistently achieve their goals and objectives. At Phillips Facilitation and Consulting, we offer a range of strategic planning and consulting services to provide leaders with expert advice, guidance and support. We typically employ the Objective and Key Result (OKR) methodology to help organizations align goals across departments with their mission and core values. We consult with teams on how to use OKRs to help rethink what is important, facilitate learning and develop systems to evaluate progress toward objectives. The OKR process promotes transparency, cross-departmental collaboration and continuous improvement.
Conferences and Retreats
At Phillips Facilitating and Consulting, we can help take your conference or retreat to the next level. By designing an innovative agenda that incorporates a series of proven interactive modalities, we ensure your organization achieves its goals and stays competitive in today's fast-paced environment. We will work with you to design a convening focused on transformation and outcomes. The process begins with an intake consultation to identify key objectives. We employ a research-based co-creation approach by conducting interviews with select participants and incorporate their input into the design process. We lead planning calls, work seamlessly with events/hospitality/IT teams, and facilitate and emcee sessions – all tailored to your customized needs.
